The world premiere of the multi-part documentary project "Dominic West: Kyrgyzstan" (Beyond the Silk Road) took place at the VUE Cinema Leicester Square in London. The press service of the Ministry of Culture, Information and Youth Policy reported this event.

Among those present at the premiere were notable figures such as Alexandra Tolstaya, Clark Peters, and Dominic West himself, who introduced the film to the audience.

Timurlan Azhymaliev, the deputy head of the ministry, emphasized the importance of this project, which plays a significant role in strengthening international cultural dialogue and promoting Kyrgyzstan as a country with a rich historical heritage and unique culture on the global stage.

The series "Dominic West: Kyrgyzstan" explores the routes of the Silk Road through the eyes of the British actor. The project is directed by Laura Jones, known for her work in documentary filmmaking and international television programs.

This series allows viewers to gain a deeper understanding of Kyrgyzstan, its culture, history, nature, and contemporary life. Audiences will be introduced to the traditions of nomadic lifestyle, national games such as ulak tartysh and kyzkumai, as well as the art of berkutchi, folk crafts, and the musical and oral heritage of the Kyrgyz people.
