At Osh State University, within the framework of the Institute of Philology and Intercultural Communication, a solemn summary of the Russian Language Week took place. This event brought together first-year students from all faculties of the university in a large-scale educational marathon.
The week was filled with a variety of events: from traditional Olympiads to creative competitions. Over five days, students not only tested their language skills but also showcased their artistic abilities by participating in theatrical performances and reciting poems by famous authors.
The culmination of the event was the final of the Olympiad, which featured the eight best participants. They successfully completed tasks on grammar, etymology, and syntax. In addition to theoretical knowledge, the finalists demonstrated their understanding of culture by discussing items of Russian everyday life and conducting virtual tours of famous cities in Russia.
The presence of the honored guest, Dmitry Avram, the head of the Russian House in Osh, added special significance to the event. He chaired the jury and highly appreciated the students' preparation, noting their genuine interest in studying not only the language but also the cultural heritage of the country.
The ceremonial moments were memorable for their vibrant performances: the winners of the creative competitions performed literary works and popular songs. A theatrical production of the fairy tale "Morozko" particularly stood out as a true highlight of the finale.
The week concluded with a ceremony awarding the Russian language. The winners of the Olympiad were awarded diplomas and commemorative gifts, while the other participants received certificates confirming their achievements in learning the Russian language.
