According to the department, the area of the new terminal is 26,000 square meters, and the building itself consists of six blocks. Construction work began on April 25, 2025.
Currently, the monolithic work is 95% complete. In the basement of the building, the installation of engineering systems, including electricity supply, ventilation, sewage, water supply, and fire-fighting water supply, is 80% complete. However, work on the first floor has been temporarily suspended due to the need for changes to the design and estimate documentation.
The minister emphasized the importance of completing the construction quickly and with high quality, as well as the need for prompt changes to the project documents and accelerating the pace of work by increasing the number of workers, as reported by the press service.
Currently, about 120 workers are involved in the construction, but there are plans to double this number.
