The mother of the injured girl admitted that she was under stress and could have made a mistake in identifying people
Bulu Nazarbayeva, a resident of the Alamudun district, who previously claimed a possible connection between relatives of a deputy of the Bishkek City Council and the akim of the Alamudun district with the traffic accident in which her daughter was injured, has now stated that this information is not true.
She sent a corresponding letter to the deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh, Seidbek Atambaev.
According to her, the conclusions about the family ties of one of the parties involved in the incident were made due to extreme stress and possible confusion regarding identities.
“I saw a person who resembled the deputy of the Bishkek City Council, Kazybek Ergeshov, and jumped to conclusions,” she shared, apologizing to those whose names were mentioned.
At the same time, Nazarbayeva called for a thorough investigation of the accident using video recordings and a legal assessment of the actions of the traffic police officers.
Earlier, Seidbek Atambaev reported that he was approached by the mother of the victim in the traffic accident that occurred at the intersection of 7 April and Ablesov streets on February 23. In the incident, a Lexus SUV, driven by an 18-year-old girl, crashed at high speed into a Honda Fit. The deputy expressed concerns about possible pressure and concealment of evidence by the akim of the Alamudun district and Kazybek Ergeshov, considering their family ties.
Kazybek Ergeshov, for his part, denied all accusations, stating that he does not have an 18-year-old daughter and that he is not aware of the circumstances of the incident. He also plans to demand a retraction of the false information.
The Main Internal Affairs Directorate of the Chui region confirmed the fact of the traffic accident that occurred on February 23 at 09:50 in the village of Koy-Tash. According to police data, a Lexus RX-350, driven by a driver born in 2006, collided with a Honda Fit, driven by a driver born in 2001. Both drivers were sober.
As a result of the collision, both vehicles were damaged. The driver of the Honda Fit was hospitalized, while the second participant received medical assistance.
Forensic medical and automotive technical examinations have been appointed, the results of which will allow for a legal assessment of what happened.
