According to her, the information about the second driver's relation to officials was incorrect. At the time of the accident, she was in a state of severe stress due to her daughter's condition and could have confused people.
“I saw a person who externally resembled the deputy of the Bishkek City Kenesh, Kazybek Ergeshov, and made hasty conclusions,” her appeal states.
Nazarbaeva apologized to Kazybek Ergeshov and other mentioned individuals, emphasizing that her words were not intentionally false.
Nevertheless, she continues to insist on a thorough investigation of the incident. The woman calls for a review of the surveillance camera footage at the time of the accident and demands a legal assessment of the actions of the traffic police officers, who, according to her, did not call an ambulance in a timely manner.
Accident Circumstances
Deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh, Seidbek Atambaev, previously reported that he was approached by the mother of the injured party, requesting oversight of the investigation into the accident that occurred on February 23 in the morning at the intersection of 7 April and Ablesov streets.According to him, the driver of the Honda Fit was entering the road when it was struck at high speed by a Lexus driven by an 18-year-old girl. Atambaev also mentioned possible attempts to conceal evidence and pressure witnesses.
The appeal claimed that the second participant in the accident was allegedly connected to the akim of the Alamudun district and a deputy of the Bishkek City Kenesh.
Response Actions
Bishkek City Kenesh deputy Kazybek Ergeshov denied claims regarding his relatives' connections to this accident.He noted that he does not have an 18-year-old daughter and that he has no information about the incident. Ergeshov also intends to demand a retraction of the disseminated information.
Information from the Police
According to the Main Department of Internal Affairs of the Chui region, the accident occurred on February 23 at around 09:50 in the village of Koi-Tash in the Alamudun district.The police report states that the vehicles involved were a Lexus RX-350, driven by a 2006-born driver, and a Honda Fit, driven by a 2001-born driver. Both drivers were sober.
As a result of the collision, both vehicles sustained mechanical damage. The driver of the Honda Fit was hospitalized, while the second participant received necessary medical assistance.
Forensic, automotive, and other examinations have been appointed, the results of which will provide a legal assessment of the incident.
