
The resolution was approved by 107 countries, while 12 states voted against it, and 51, including Kyrgyzstan, the USA, and China, abstained from voting.
The adopted document reaffirms support for the independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity of Ukraine. Despite attempts by the USA to exclude two paragraphs from the text concerning these aspects and provisions of the UN Charter, other states refused to vote on this proposal, and the resolution was adopted in its original form.

Among the countries that supported the resolution are most European states, as well as Canada, Japan, Australia, South Korea, countries from Latin America and Africa. Countries that voted against include Russia, Belarus, Syria, North Korea, Eritrea, and Iran.
In addition to Kyrgyzstan, the list of abstaining countries included the USA, China, India, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar, Singapore, Slovakia, and several other states.
The resolution emphasizes the importance of ceasing hostilities and seeking a peaceful resolution to the conflict, as well as adhering to international law and the UN Charter.
