A Kyrgyzstani Became the Head Coach of the French National Handball Team
According to recent reports, Kyrgyzstani Talantbek Dushabaev has become the new head coach of the French national handball team.
He expressed his emotions, stating: “It is a great honor for me to coach the national team of France. This is exactly what I dreamed of, as this country has a magnificent generation of athletes. My main task is to achieve victories and regain leading positions, especially in matches against Germany and Denmark.”
Talantbek Dushabaev is a holder of the gold medal from the 1992 Olympic Games, the world championship title from 1993, as well as a medalist in European and Olympic competitions. He has also achieved success in the Champions League as both a player and a coach. His career began at the club “Burevestnik,” located in Frunze.
This year, in the summer of 2023, Talantbek was inducted into the Hall of Fame of the European Handball Federation (EHF).
