In 2024, the State Insurance issued about 74,000 OSAGO policies, and in 2025, this number exceeded 350,000.
According to Turumbekov, starting from 2026, the number of issued policies reached over 18,000, indicating a growing interest among citizens in this type of insurance. "Although some obtain policies merely to comply with the law, many do so consciously to protect themselves in case of trouble," he added.
In Kyrgyzstan, there are over 1.7 million registered vehicles, and more than half of them have OSAGO policies.
