At a parliamentary meeting, Speaker Marlen Mamataliyev announced that two chairpersons of the Jogorku Kenesh committees have resigned.
According to him, Bolotbek Borbiev, who headed the Committee on Judicial and Legal Affairs, Law Enforcement, Combating Crime, and Counteracting Corruption, and Gulsunkhan Junushalieva, who led the Committee on Labor, Health, Women's Affairs, and Social Issues, left their positions voluntarily.
New chairpersons for these committees are now expected to be elected.
