In Kyrgyzstan, spring break will be extended by four days; however, the end of the school year will be postponed to a later date. This was announced by the Minister of Education, Dogdurkul Kendirbaeva, on her social media.

According to her information, the ministry took into account the opinions of parents.

“Many expressed dissatisfaction with the short duration of the break. We considered the parents' wishes and decided to extend the break by four days. Students will be able to rest from March 2 to March 7. In connection with this, in order to keep up with the curriculum, the school year will end not on May 25, but on the 29th. The last bell in schools will ring on May 29,” the minister noted.
