Information that appeared on social media about a possible return to the former name of the city of Manas in the Jalal-Abad region is false. This was confirmed by the press secretary of the president, Askhat Alagozov, on his social media account.
He stated that discussions about renaming the city of Manas are not planned and have not taken place.
Thus, the city will continue to bear the name Manas.
