In the capital of Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek, the supply of drinking water will be suspended on February 26 from 09:00 to 20:00. This will affect residential houses, educational institutions, kindergartens, medical facilities, and other social and industrial establishments.
According to the city hall, the shutdown will affect the districts of “Ak-Jar,” “Ak-Bata,” and “Kelechek.” The reason for the temporary shutdown is emergency repair work at the water intakes “Ak-Jar” and “Ak-Bata.”
The enterprise “Bishkekvodokanal” apologizes for any inconvenience and recommends that residents and organizations prepare supplies of drinking water in advance.
