From 09:00 to 20:00 on February 26, 2026, the supply of drinking water will be temporarily suspended in Bishkek. This restriction will affect residential houses, educational institutions, kindergartens, healthcare facilities, and a number of other social infrastructure objects and industrial enterprises.
The affected areas will be Ak-Zhar, Ak-Bata, and Kelechek.
The reason for the shutdown is scheduled emergency repair work at the water intakes "Ak-Zhar" and "Ak-Bata".
MP "Bishkekvodokanal" apologizes for any inconvenience and recommends that residents stock up on drinking water in advance.
