The Foreign Minister of Kyrgyzstan invited the UN Secretary-General to visit the Nomad Games and the SCO summit.

During the disarmament conference on February 23, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, Jeenbek Kulubaev, met with UN Secretary-General António Guterres. Current issues and prospects for bilateral cooperation were discussed.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, the parties confirmed the importance of the UN's role in maintaining peace and responding to global challenges, as well as expressed their readiness for further constructive interaction.

Special attention was given to the "UN-80" initiative, which aims to enhance the efficiency and modernization of the organization's work. Ongoing reforms were discussed, and readiness for cooperation in their implementation was confirmed. The active interaction of the Kyrgyz side with UN agencies operating in the republic was also noted.

In addition, Kulubaev informed about the upcoming SCO summit in 2026 and the VI World Nomad Games, as well as the preparation for the "Bishkek+25" summit scheduled for 2027. In this regard, the minister invited the UN Secretary-General to visit Kyrgyzstan to participate in these significant events.
