As of the end of 2025, 15,278 electric vehicles were registered in Kyrgyzstan

According to information provided by the Ministry of Natural Resources of Kyrgyzstan, by the end of 2025, 15,278 electric vehicles were registered in the country, which accounts for 0.8% of the total vehicle fleet.
The agency notes that in recent years there has been a steady increase in the number of electric vehicles. In 2022, 1,113 such cars were registered in Kyrgyzstan, in 2023 — 2,310, and in 2024 — 3,122.

As of 2025, the total number of electric vehicles reached 9,870, indicating a significant increase in interest in environmentally friendly transport.

Additionally, the ministry reported that there are more than 100 electric charging stations operating in Bishkek, which significantly contributes to the development of the necessary infrastructure for electric vehicles and stimulates their popularity.
