According to statistics for 2024, the employment rate among men of working age exceeds 77%.
The most represented age group among working men is those aged 35 to 39 years — one in seven of them is employed in the economy.
Men in Kyrgyzstan are mainly engaged in key sectors such as construction, transportation, mining, and energy (electricity supply, gas, steam, and air conditioning).
In 2024, 45,000 marriages were registered, the majority of which were entered into by men aged 20 to 29 years. The average age for entering the first marriage is 27.6 years, and for a second marriage, it is 39.6 years.
In government bodies, men also constitute a significant majority: 55.4% work in public administration, and in local self-government bodies, this figure reaches 62.3%.
