In 'Ata-Beyit', the memory of fallen border guards was honored

Today, February 23, a memorial rally was held at the "Ata-Beyit" Memorial Complex in honor of the border guards who died while performing their duties to protect the borders of Kyrgyzstan, as reported by the Border Service.
Among those present were the Chairman of the State Border Service A.K. Alimbaev, veterans of the border service, as well as officers and personnel of the agency.

The ceremony began with the laying of wreaths at the burial sites of the fallen defenders of the border.

A prayer was said in honor of the heroes, after which the participants honored their memory with a moment of silence.

"The feats of the servicemen who fulfilled their duty at the state border until the end will forever remain in the memory of the people of Kyrgyzstan and will serve as an example of loyalty to the Military Oath, courage, and devotion to the Motherland," emphasized the organizers of the event.

The rally concluded with the laying of flowers at the monument symbolizing the valor and resilience of the border guards who gave their lives for the safety, sovereignty, and integrity of the country.

Among the participants was Captain Reserve Sultanbek uulu Mirbek, who recently received a state award — the degree of distinction "Ata-Meken Baatyry" for his displayed heroism and selflessness in life-threatening conditions while guarding the borders of Kyrgyzstan.

The head of the border service congratulated Sultanbek uulu Mirbek on receiving the high award, expressed gratitude for his courage, and wished him a speedy recovery, adding that the agency and his comrades will always support him.
