This donation is valid only during the month of Ramadan
The Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Kyrgyzstan has announced the amount of mandatory charity known as fitr-sadaqah for the current year.
The amount to be paid per person is:
▪️ 1.6 kg of wheat — 60 soms
▪️ 1.6 kg of flour — 90 soms
▪️ 3.2 kg of barley — 100 soms
▪️ 1.6 kg of raisins — 880 soms
▪️ 1.6 kg of dates — 1200 soms
It is important to note that fitr-sadaqah is a mandatory charity that is intended exclusively for the month of fasting. Donations (sadaqah) made at other times are not considered fitr-sadaqah.
Every year, the DUMK and the Council of Ulema of Kyrgyzstan determine the amount of fitr-sadaqah for each person, which is expressed in weight units of products: wheat, barley, flour, raisins, or dates. The choice of a specific product depends on the financial capabilities of the individual.
