The mayor of the Osh region, Janarbek Akayev, along with the heads of relevant services, visited the Alisher Navoi Park in response to appeals from local entrepreneurs, the city’s press service reports. During the visit, the mayor familiarized himself with the current issues in the park area and assessed them on-site.
Akayev met with vendors operating in the park, as well as with representatives of companies involved in the construction of new facilities. During the discussions, the reasons for conflicts were clarified, and the opinions of all interested parties were heard.
As the mayor noted, the main tasks remain creating comfortable conditions for residents, protecting the rights of businesses, and maintaining order in the city. He emphasized the need to resolve contentious situations within the framework of the law, adhering to the principles of fairness and transparency.
It should be noted that earlier, work was carried out in the park to improve its infrastructure: old trade kiosks were demolished, areas were cleaned, and new trees were planted. These measures are aimed at creating a safe, clean, and modern place for residents to relax.
