The winners of the British Academy Film Awards have been announced. A film about Putin is among them.

The 79th British Academy Film Awards (BAFTA) ceremony took place in London. The evening's leader was the film "Battle of Battles," which won six awards, including "Best Film."

Director Paul Thomas Anderson and actor Sean Penn were honored with awards for Best Direction and Best Supporting Actor, respectively, while Michael Bauman received the prize for Outstanding Cinematography.
Robert Aramayo, known for his role in "Game of Thrones," was recognized as Best Actor for his work in the biographical drama "I Am Cursing." This film also won the award for Best Casting.
Jessie Buckley was awarded Best Actress for her role in "Hamnet: The Story that Inspired 'Hamlet'."

The documentary "Mr. Nobody vs. Putin," created in collaboration by Pavel Talankin and David Borenstein, received the award for Best Documentary. The film reveals changes in the Russian school system that occurred after the onset of the invasion of Ukraine, influenced by state propaganda.

The Best Foreign Language Film was recognized as "Sentimental Value" by Joachim Trier, while the award for Best Animated Film went to Disney's "Zootopia 2." The award for Best Visual Effects was won by "Avatar: The Way of Water."
