From February 16 to 22, 2026, according to preliminary data, the Main Department of Road Safety of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic recorded 29,894 violations of traffic rules. Among them:
- 3,170 cases of driving vehicles without necessary documents;
- 207 cases of driving cars while under the influence of alcohol;
- 155 cases of illegal window tinting;
- 1,202 traffic violations involving pedestrians;
- 4,326 cases of violations of vehicle operation conditions;
- 25 incidents of auto hooliganism;
- 3,602 instances of speeding;
- 5 cases of driving vehicles with fake license plates;
Additionally, 13,686 other traffic rule violations were identified, and 3,516 vehicles were sent to the impound lot.
The Main Department of Road Safety of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic strongly urges both drivers and pedestrians to adhere to the current traffic rules.
