The Traffic Police Detected Over 25,000 Traffic Violations in a Week

According to information provided by the press service of the Main Directorate for Road Traffic Safety of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, from February 2 to February 8, there were 25,638 cases of traffic rule violations.

Among them:

— 2,666 cases – driving without the necessary documents;

— 359 cases – driving under the influence of alcohol;

— 166 cases – illegal tinting of vehicle windows;

— 674 cases – traffic violations involving pedestrians;

— 3,728 cases – improper use of vehicles;

— 27 cases – auto hooliganism;

— 2,588 cases – exceeding the established speed limit;

— 11 cases – driving with counterfeit license plates;

— 11,821 cases – other traffic rule violations;

— 3,598 vehicles were impounded.
