"The school has been named after a unique person — the outstanding poet and educator Musa Jalil. His significance for history is hard to overestimate. He brought many joyful moments to people before the war, and during the hostilities, he fought at the front and met his martyr's death," noted Albert Zulkharnayev.

Musa Jalil was a well-known Tatar poet who was executed by guillotine in 1944 at the Pletzensee prison in Berlin for participating in the underground activities of the Moabit concentration camp.

His collection of poems "Moabit Notebooks" was awarded the Lenin Prize in 1957.

In the summer of 2024, a stele in honor of Musa Jalil was installed at the building of school No. 29.
