In Bishkek, the International Mother Language Day was celebrated in social institutions
In Bishkek, festive events dedicated to the International Mother Language Day were held in institutions such as "Akniyet," the social stationary institution "Ümüt üyi," and the center "Ayjar."
According to information from the mayor's office, these events were organized as part of the implementation of the president's decree on "National Spirit – Global Heights," and their main goal was to elevate the status of the mother language, as well as to promote national values and strengthen interethnic harmony.
During the events, participants learned about the significance and history of the International Mother Language Day. Proverbs and sayings dedicated to the mother language were voiced, poems were recited, and songs and national dances were performed. The students showcased creative performances reflecting the cultural and linguistic traditions of various peoples, which contributed to the creation of an atmosphere of friendship and mutual respect.
Both the students and the staff of the institutions, as well as the residents, actively participated in the events, which helped strengthen the role of the mother language in society.
The main goal of these events is to foster patriotism, to cultivate a respectful attitude towards the mother language, and to ensure its preservation and development.
