The Kazakh army will take on the task of maintaining peace in the Gaza Strip. This became known after the first meeting of the Council of Peace, which took place in Washington under the leadership of Donald Trump, as reported by DW.

At the meeting, it was announced that five countries, including Kazakhstan, agreed to send their troops to Gaza: Morocco, Albania, Kosovo, and Indonesia also supported this initiative.

Kazakhstan's President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, who attended the meeting, confirmed the country's readiness to "support the International Stabilization Forces" by sending military units, including medical personnel, as well as peacekeeping observers. He added that Kazakhstan would also provide funding, humanitarian aid, and participate in the reconstruction of destroyed facilities in Gaza.
Donald Trump announced that the countries of the Council of Peace agreed to allocate $7 billion for the Gaza Strip. The participants of this agreement include Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, the UAE, Morocco, Bahrain, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Uzbekistan, and Kuwait. The USA will add another $10 billion to this amount, and the UN will allocate $2 billion. Additionally, the International Federation of Football FIFA will allocate $75 million for sports projects in the region.
The International Stabilization Forces will be responsible for maintaining order in Gaza, monitoring compliance with the ceasefire regime, and assisting in establishing lasting peace. Indonesia has already announced the possibility of sending between 5,000 to 8,000 military personnel. However, data on the number of soldiers that other countries will send has not yet been published. Many European countries, including France and Germany, have refused to participate in the activities of the Council of Peace.
