The majority of those surveyed admitted that they have not yet formed an opinion about the new mayor, but they are ready to monitor his work and evaluate the results. Many respondents nostalgically recalled the former mayor.
“The ex-mayor really performed his duties well and was closer to the people,” shared one resident's opinion.
Some survey participants noted that the previous mayor managed to earn the trust of the population and left positive impressions: “He entered the hearts of the people; his contribution will remain in memory.”
Nevertheless, the majority of respondents agree that the new mayor needs time to adapt:
“He has just started. Let's see how he works. It is important whether he can continue the initiated projects,” the citizens say.
In discussions, residents most often raised topics of improving amenities, the condition of residential areas, and the need to refine key facilities. “If the new mayor takes on our neighborhood, that will be enough,” said one of the respondents.
Some citizens express concerns that the change in leadership may slow down the implementation of current projects; however, hope for the further development of the city still remains. “Osh has started moving in the right direction, and we would like the new authorities to continue this process,” added a local resident.
The survey demonstrated that the residents of Osh intend to evaluate the actions of the new mayor based on specific results and changes in urban infrastructure. The citizens hope for stability, the continuation of initiated initiatives, and open interaction with the authorities.
