The construction of the structure on the territory of TSUM "Aichurek" has been recognized as not compliant with the previously approved project solutions. By the order of the mayor of the capital, Aibek Junushaliev, this metal structure is subject to immediate dismantling.
Inspection revealed that the object being implemented by the developer does not comply with the sketch project that was approved and did not undergo discussion at the urban planning council. The work is being carried out with violations of the approved parameters, which contradicts urban planning norms.
Special attention has been paid to the issue of the fountain zone, which previously existed on this site. Representatives of TSUM had previously stated their intention to preserve the architectural concept of the space and restore the fountains after the construction work is completed. However, the actual construction on the site of the fountains raises doubts about the fulfillment of these commitments. The restoration of the fountain composition is a mandatory condition for bringing the area into order.
The mayor of the city has given the developer three days for the independent dismantling of the structure. If this requirement is not met, the dismantling will be organized with the participation of authorized municipal services, and all costs, including disassembly, removal, disposal, and restoration work, will be borne by the company that carried out the construction.
The measures taken aim to strictly comply with urban planning norms, protect the interests of the public, and restore a favorable urban environment.
It should be noted that the Old Bishkek project is a separate initiative and has no relation to the object in question. The fountain complex is located in the TSUM zone, and all construction work was carried out directly on its territory and under the management of the shopping center.
Thus, the fountain is not part of the Old Bishkek project and has no organizational or functional connection to it.
