The project 'Central Asia at the Crossroads of Ideas and Cultures' opens in Moscow
On February 24, a new exhibition project titled "Central Asia at the Crossroads of Ideas and Cultures" will begin at the State Public Historical Library of Russia in Moscow.
This exhibition will be dedicated to the cultural and historical processes that have taken place in a region that has been an important crossroads for various cultures, civilizations, trade routes, and religions for centuries, as reported by the library marketing department.

The main goal of the exhibition is to showcase the civilizational contribution of Central Asia to world culture and progress, as well as the exchange of knowledge and technologies. The region was the birthplace of many great civilizations, such as the Bactrian Kingdom, the Parthian Empire, the Kushan Kingdom, Khorezm and Sogdiana, the Seljuk Empire, the states of the Karakhanids and Ghaznavids, as well as the Bukhara Emirate and the Khiva Khanate. Furthermore, the Great Silk Road, an important artery for cultural exchange between the East and the West, passed through this region, as noted in the statement.
