He reported that the dump was located along the road connecting Kozhomkul and Frunze, and for many years, a large amount of waste had accumulated there. Each year, the volume of garbage increased. Just 500 meters from this site, there are residential houses, and in the summer, fires often occurred here, which took a lot of time to extinguish. Local residents repeatedly appealed for help in addressing this problem.
The village administration of Kozhomkul stated that now all household waste will be taken to the central sanitary landfill in Bishkek. "Previously, we faced difficulties in transporting garbage to Bishkek due to a lack of specialized equipment. It is also important to note that the continuation of the capital's Profsoyuznaya street is planned near the site where the dump was located," the village administration added.
