A ski race tournament "I am a Champion" was held at the ski base in Karakol, featuring young athletes born between 2008 and 2015. The event saw the participation of 110 competitors representing six teams from the Naryn region, Chui region, Issyk-Kul region, as well as the Toguz-Toro and Chatkal districts.
The competitions were held in various age groups, where participants showcased their skills, speed, and teamwork. The main goal of the tournament is to promote skiing among youth and identify promising athletes.
Results of the tournament:
1st place: "Karakol No. 1" (Karakol Youth Sports School) - 220,000 soms.
2nd place: Naryn (Youth Sports School "Ala-Too") - 170,000 soms.
3rd place: Issyk-Ata Youth Sports School - 110,000 soms.
4th place: Karakol Youth Sports School - 50,000 soms.
5th place: Toguz-Toro - 50,000 soms.
The prize fund of the tournament amounted to 600,000 soms. These competitions contributed to strengthening the sporting spirit, exchanging experiences between regions, and promoting skiing in the country.
