The deputy director of the municipal enterprise "City Road Transport Infrastructure," Talaybek Aseynov, reported that a list of car dealerships and information about their activities had been provided to the deputies. He added that all such organizations had been handed notifications about the unlawful use of parking lots, with a warning of possible closure if violations are not rectified. "Parking lots must function strictly as parking lots," emphasized Aseynov, clarifying that owners have five days to put their territories in order.
The deputy also pointed out that 15 parking lots are rented out for only 19-20 cars, while in reality, such car dealerships can accommodate up to 150 vehicles. "There is a serious shortage of parking spaces in the city, traffic jams are everywhere, and residents of nearby areas face the problem of a lack of parking spots. Drivers leave their cars along the roads," noted Ergeshov, adding that, according to his information, no contracts with car dealerships have been terminated so far.
Furthermore, it turned out that the municipal enterprise "City Road Transport Infrastructure" had not entered into contracts with some car dealerships.
The deputy demanded that the issue be resolved by the next commission meeting.
