The main causes of infant deaths were: perinatal pathology — 76 cases, respiratory diseases — 22 cases, congenital anomalies — 18, infectious diseases — 9, and other causes — 16 cases.
As for maternal mortality, there were 10 cases registered in the region in 2025, while in 2024 there were 8.
The total number of citizens served by medical institutions in the Chui region is 936,811 people. The region has 1,115 doctors, and the number of medical workers with secondary medical education reaches 3,103.
