In 2025, there were 141 cases of infant mortality and 10 cases of maternal mortality in the Chui region.
According to Kyshtobaeva, compared to 2024, the infant mortality rate decreased by 24 cases. The reasons leading to the deaths of infants were distributed as follows:
- 76 children fell victim to perinatal pathology,
- 22 children died from respiratory diseases,
- 18 cases were associated with congenital anomalies,
- 16 children died from other causes,
- 9 cases were related to infectious diseases.
The deputy also noted that in 2025, there were 10 cases of maternal mortality, which is two cases more than in 2024, where there were 8 such cases.
The population served by medical institutions in the Chui region amounted to 936,811 people, which is significantly lower than the 2024 figure of 1,054,072. The region employs 1,115 doctors and 3,103 medical workers with secondary education.
Kyshtobaeva reported the recruitment of 157 specialists in healthcare institutions over the year, among whom:
- 13 residents and 14 interns, who receive a monthly stipend of 20,000 soms;
- 13 doctors, who are provided with a medical deposit of 66,000 soms;
- 117 doctors in specialized fields (including pediatricians, neonatologists, general surgeons, and anesthesiologists-resuscitators) are entitled to a monthly compensation payment of 20,000 soms.
