This cable car, built by the Austrian company Doppelmayr, will stretch for 1 kilometer and can serve up to 1,000 passengers per hour. Japarov also announced that this company is working on another cable car at the "Ala-Too Resort".
The president announced the second phase of construction, which will start from the checkpoint and cover 12 kilometers, including the most picturesque and hard-to-reach areas of the national park.
"With the implementation of this project, residents and tourists will be able to enjoy the splendor of the Kyrgyz mountains and their unique nature," noted the president.
In addition, Japarov emphasized that the cable car is not the only infrastructure upgrade in the park. Modern cottages with comfortable conditions are also being built here.
"These recreation areas will provide tourists with the opportunity to relax wonderfully in the mountains and by the rushing rivers. Currently, a modern toboggan run is also under construction, and plans include the opening of a five-star hotel with a swimming pool," added the head of state.
