The deputy called for adherence to service ethics and equal treatment of citizens by the employees of the Public Service Centers, Cadastre, and Architecture.
Temirlan Aitiev, a deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh, drew attention to the complaints received from ethnic Kyrgyz who have moved to Kyrgyzstan. According to him, many of them face discrimination and unequal treatment from the staff of state population registration authorities, despite the simplified conditions provided by the government for obtaining citizenship.
This issue is particularly relevant for Kyrgyz who arrived from Tajikistan and Uzbekistan in 2022, fleeing persecution and pressure. The Constitution of the Kyrgyz Republic, specifically Article 51, Paragraph 3, as well as the presidential decree of January 24, 2024, No. 25, guarantee a simplified process for obtaining citizenship for ethnic Kyrgyz with appropriate confirmation of nationality.
The deputy noted that employees of the Public Service Centers, Cadastre, Architecture, and other related institutions must adhere to ethical standards and ensure equal treatment of every citizen, regardless of their status, income, or place of residence.
"Do not divide people into 'black' and 'white', rich and poor, citizens and foreigners. Everyone has the right to equal service. State authorities must fulfill their assigned tasks," emphasized the parliamentarian.
