He noted that an assessment of the road conditions was conducted in preparation for the expansion.
“At public meetings, we also carried out explanatory work regarding the upcoming road expansion. Soon, work will begin on the demolition of buildings that are located beyond the red line on Alimbek Datka Street,” the mayor added.
According to the monitoring results, 86 houses, as well as 16 residential buildings and 24 shops, will be subject to demolition. We will act in accordance with the law regarding houses that are located beyond the red line.
Currently, the width of the road is between 9 and 12 meters, but a four-lane road will require 24 meters. Therefore, we plan to widen the road to 12 meters, clear the area of buildings, and prepare it for construction. The Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Kyrgyz Republic will take on the implementation of the project, which will include irrigation, shoulders, sidewalks, green areas, and lighting,” Tajibaev reported.
