During a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh, Deputy Dastan Bekeshev drew attention to an important issue regarding housing for orphaned children. He addressed Bektur Zulpiyev, representing the president and the cabinet of ministers, suggesting a detailed study of the situation.
According to Bekeshev, orphans face numerous difficulties after leaving children's institutions — from obtaining education to finding work and, of course, the issue of housing.
The deputy noted that some measures are being taken, such as opening deposit accounts; however, these funds are insufficient for obtaining a state mortgage.
“It is necessary to comprehensively consider this issue, possibly at a meeting of the relevant committee. What about those who do not have a stable income? Where can they live? The state should provide assistance; options for building dormitories or service housing can be considered,” emphasized Bekeshev.
