Turmush correspondent reports that three veterans who served in the Soviet army and live in the villages of Sary-Toloy and Ken-Suu were invited to the event. The local residents warmly welcomed their guests.
The event was organized by the cultural workers of the Karkyra ayil okmotu in collaboration with school students. The veterans were honored, after which they shared their memories of the war years with the young people and emphasized the importance of patriotism and peace.
As part of the program, competitions were held in which students from the 5th and 6th grades of two local schools participated, and patriotic songs and dances were also presented.
