The Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition is the largest and most prestigious international competition for law school students, with participation from over 700 universities from more than 100 countries. The competition simulates proceedings in the International Court of Justice and includes both written memorandum submissions and oral presentations.
“Participating in such high-level international competitions provides students with a unique opportunity to make a name for themselves on the global stage and become part of a community of lawyers worldwide. We are proud of our AUCA team, and their victory is the result of hard work and teamwork. We are confident that our students will represent Kyrgyzstan with dignity in Washington. We wish them confidence and new successes,” commented the university.
The preparation of the AUCA team for the international competition began in September under the guidance of experienced law faculty instructors. During the preparation, students deepened their knowledge by studying extensive legal literature and scholarly articles, which contributed to the development of their professional skills and successful resolution of legal tasks.
For five years, AUCA has been a leader in the Central Asian rounds of this competition, representing Kyrgyzstan on the international stage. These achievements confirm the high level of student preparation and the academic strength of the law faculty.
The team is currently actively preparing for the international rounds in the USA, which will take place from March 28 to April 4.
We wish them good luck and new victories in their professional careers!
