This competition is being held on the international stage for the first time, and the submission of works for participation has already been announced.
“The main goals of the competition are to raise the cultural and spiritual level of law enforcement personnel, as well as to foster patriotism and loyalty to duty. Significant attention is paid to revealing the specifics and complexities of the work, as well as demonstrating examples of selflessness and professionalism,” the official statement emphasizes.
Both media representatives and writers, creative individuals, law enforcement officers, as well as their colleagues from law enforcement agencies of other countries are invited to participate.
The competition accepts previously unpublished detective works in major prose genres, such as novels, novellas, and short stories. They must be written in Russian or the state languages and based on real events related to the feats of law enforcement officers.
The submission of works will continue until April 1, 2026.
Authors must provide information about themselves, including their last name, first name, patronymic, age, specialty, address, and contact phone numbers.
The evaluation of the works will be conducted based on a number of criteria: relevance to the competition theme, artistic execution, completeness of the plot, professional skill, accuracy of events, and the portrayal of a police officer's image.
