The City Hall handed over new equipment to the capital's Ministry of Emergency Situations.
The Mayor of Bishkek, Aybek Junushaliev, presented new equipment and special means for the needs of the capital's Emergency Situations Ministry.
Among those present at the event were the Deputy Minister of Emergency Situations Akylbek Mazaripov, the head of the Bishkek Emergency Situations Department Usun uulu Akzhol, as well as the head of the Sverdlovsk District Mederbek Amangeldiev and employees of the capital's Emergency Situations Ministry.
The head of the capital emphasized that the city hall is actively working to improve the material and technical base of rescue services. This year, about 5 million soms have been allocated to support the Emergency Situations Ministry, and over the past two years, funding has increased to 10 million soms.
“We will continue to support the Emergency Situations Ministry by creating the necessary conditions for the effective execution of their tasks. The new equipment will serve as an important tool in their daily and responsible work, enabling quick responses to emergencies and assisting the city's residents,” noted Junushaliev.
According to the city hall, last year, thanks to joint efforts, important measures were taken to enhance safety in the city, such as strengthening riverbanks, constructing a dam with a volume of 50,000 cubic meters in the Manka-Zhar gorge, and acquiring modern rescue equipment.
