Deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh, Medina Kairylbekova, raised a question at the meeting of the committee on international affairs regarding the proportion of representatives of other nationalities serving in the military. In response, a representative of the Ministry of Defense stated that the agency is actively working to attract citizens from various ethnic groups to serve in the army.
Kairylbekova expressed her opinion, noting that she does not see many representatives of different nationalities among the military personnel. In response to her remark, the Ministry of Defense promised to prepare and provide a detailed written report on the issue raised.
