According to information from the Kochkor District State Administration, about 60 representatives from various countries participated in the event, including media from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Russia, as well as ethnic Kyrgyz from China and other countries.
As part of the press tour, participants were introduced to a salt mine in the rural area of Cholpon, known for its healing properties. They also visited the "Kuygun Suu" spring, whose water aids in the treatment of skin diseases.
Sporting events on the ice were organized on the frozen Lake Ara-Köl, which attracted the attention of the guests.
Participants were informed about the origins of local waters and their healing properties, and an exhibition of national products and traditional dishes was organized. There was also a demonstration of the national horseback game kok-boru.
In addition, the "Sogum" festival took place, showcasing various methods of preparing national delicacies. The program concluded at the "Ormon Khan" ethnocomplex (village of Semiz-Bel), where participants attended master classes on Kyrgyz cuisine and were introduced to the infrastructure of the new ethnocomplex, which also houses a historical and ethnographic museum.
