This site is located on the Umm Arak plateau and includes hundreds of drawings, carved images, and inscriptions, spanning from the Neolithic era to early Islamic times.
The sandstone rock formation stretches over 100 meters along the eastern edge of the plateau, showcasing vibrant images created with red and gray pigments. They depict animals, hunting scenes, and symbolic figures. The oldest of the discovered images, dating from 10,000 to 5,500 years ago, reflect the life of early hunter-gatherers, including hunting mountain goats with bows and the use of hunting dogs, as noted by experts.
