Construction work on a 14-story residential complex located near secondary school No. 61 in Bishkek has been suspended. This was reported by the Ministry of Construction, Architecture, and Housing and Communal Services of Kyrgyzstan.

According to the ministry, on February 14, a notification about the commencement of construction work on this site was received by the agency.

As reported by Ernazarbek Suerkulov, the director of the State Architectural and Construction Control Department, construction at this location had previously been suspended. Currently, the developer was supposed to undertake the conservation of the site to protect construction materials, equipment, and the structure itself from damage during the work stoppage.

However, as the ministry notes, the company OsOO Action resumed pouring concrete, which led to a renewed suspension of construction and the sealing of the site by representatives of the ministry.

It is also worth emphasizing that just four days ago, at the direction of Minister Nurdana Oruntaev, work at this construction site had already been suspended.

At the moment, the relevant state authorities are conducting additional checks to ensure compliance of the construction work with legislation and are analyzing safety for the students of the school.
