Official representatives and members of the public attended the event to honor the memory of fallen soldiers and express gratitude to the living heroes. Among the participants were Gulmira Kyshtobaeva, Deputy Plenipotentiary Representative of the President in the Chui Region, Arnal Asanov, First Deputy Head of the Alamidin District State Administration, as well as the chairmen of the Veterans Council Asanaly Zaripov and Abdymanap Sopieva.
Participants of the rally recalled the events of the decade-long war that began in 1979 and the heroic deeds of soldiers who displayed courage and resilience in the most challenging conditions. An important aspect of the discussion was the preservation of historical memory for future generations. Currently, there are 70 veterans living in the Alamidin district who participated in the Afghan war.
The solemn event concluded with a moment of silence in memory of those who did not return from the war.
