

During the discussion, topics such as the formation of historical narratives, the content of textbooks, the events of 1916 (Urkyn), and the history of the Panfilov Division were addressed. Special attention was also given to issues concerning Kyrgyz-Russian relations.
“We had a bit of a debate and exchanged opinions. We will continue this dialogue,” noted the Secretary of State.

According to a previously signed memorandum, the parties agreed on cooperation in the following areas:
- creating conditions for Kyrgyz researchers in Russian archives;
- holding an international conference dedicated to the events of 1916;
- free exchange of opinions on textbook content without pressure;
- continuing research on the history of the Panfilov Division, taking into account Kyrgyzstan's contribution.
The team of Vladimir Medinsky has been invited to the Issyk-Kul Forum.
Arslan Koychiev added that every order and medal received by soldiers from Kyrgyzstan during World War II symbolizes their heroism.
