
More than 200 people from the Issyk-Ata, Chui, and Kemin districts, as well as the cities of Tokmok and Kant, participated in the event organized in the Chui region. The participants focused on the socio-economic problems of the region.
Mothers of children with disabilities expressed particular concern about the inaccessibility of urban infrastructure, the need to increase the amount of benefits, create conditions in educational institutions, and open specialized centers. It was specifically mentioned that children with autism are not accepted into schools.
The women also shared their issues related to medical and social expertise. "We have to personally bring our children for the examination, even if they cannot move. My adult child has to call a taxi because we are not allowed on public transport," one of the participants of the meeting said.
In addition, issues were discussed regarding the lack of passports due to lost documents, the shortage of land plots for housing construction, and the environmental consequences of quarry development in the village of Boz-Boltok.
Jamilya Jamambaeva noted that all appeals will be considered and appropriate measures will be taken.
"Over the past 23 years, more than 70% of the ombudsman's recommendations, approved by the resolution of the Jogorku Kenesh, have been implemented. This indicates our effectiveness," she emphasized.
As part of the first round of "Karavan Prava," the ombudsman plans to visit the Chui, Issyk-Kul, and Naryn regions, where institute staff will provide legal assistance and accept applications on-site.
