At the session, which gathered 24 deputies, the mayor Nurtilek Orozbaev, the chairman of the city council Chyngyz Kimsanov, and the heads of local institutions and enterprises participated.
Important issues concerning the development of the city, financial policy, and management of municipal property were on the agenda.
First, the deputies discussed the working plan of the city council for 2026. Chyngyz Kimsanov presented a report, which included proposals from the chairpersons of the standing committees, allowing for the identification of key areas of work for the upcoming year.
Then, Mayor Nurtilek Orozbaev presented a report on activities for 2025, reflecting the implementation of the socio-economic development program, social support measures, and the execution of council decisions. Following the presentation, the deputies asked questions and expressed satisfaction with the mayor's work.
Additionally, a report from the municipal property management was heard, covering issues related to the preservation of municipal property, the execution of state procurements, and the quality of work completed in 2025.
Next, the deputies approved the execution of the Kara-Kul budget for 2025 and the amended plan.
The audit of the Accounts Chamber for 2024 became the next point of discussion. During the review of the results of the audit of budget expenditures and the operations of municipal enterprises, the leaders provided clarifications on the remarks.
At the conclusion of the session, a report on the use of pastures for 2025 was heard, and the plan for 2026 was discussed.
As a result of the meeting, the deputies made decisions on all issues and emphasized the importance of continuing work in the area of sustainable city development, maintaining financial discipline, and effective management of municipal property.
