Road Closed: A Snow Avalanche of Approximately 50,000 m³ Has Occurred on the Balıkçı–Kazaraman Highway

According to the agency's data, the avalanche struck the section from 243 to 296 km of the alternative North–South highway (the Aral–Kazaraman segment) with a volume of about 50,000 m³.
Currently, work is underway to clear the road, which is temporarily closed. The snow cover reaches 40–50 cm.
The Kazaraman–Ak-Talchat road (km 40–99) is also temporarily inaccessible, with a snow cover of 40–45 cm.
On the Birlik–Aral–Karl Marx road, the snow thickness reaches 60–70 cm.
On the Kazaraman–Jalal-Abad section, the snow layer varies from 50 to 65 cm.
Clearing work is being carried out using a motor grader.
